![]() ![]() We’ll talk more about that in a minute, but please don’t just wait until right now to do that. And I think that what I see happen more often, if you’re not keeping things tidy or neat around the area, it becomes more obvious to you that it’s dirty and those are things that I would argue, please don’t wait just once a year to clean your keyboard or your monitor or other things. And there are some things that are easier to avoid than others. Tom Mighell: Well I’m going to start out sort of by just blowing up the whole concept of spring cleaning in one respect and that is you can choose to avoid it. It’s like finding the time I think and the energy in some cases is the real trick. So spring is here and I think that for all of us, like every listener, if you take a look at, you know, your text setup, the need for cleaning it and maintaining it is going to be apparent. So I take that it’s sort of one of those things at this time like resolutions, you know, like whether they make sense ultimately at the beginning or not, there’s at least something that prompts you to this. Actually, I was just looking at the other spring cleaning projects that I was thinking about around our apartment and then I looked at my own desk and I was like, you know, spring cleaning begins at home. I mean, it’s so much easier to talk about this than to actually do it. Dennis, i guess other than the fact that it’s spring, what got you interested in this topic?ĭennis Kennedy: Well, i think it comes out to this one word that we’re probably all very familiar with and that’s avoidance. So we thought we’d use this episode to talk about some tried and true methods for cleaning our own technology, both inside and outside. Just like everything you own, the technology you use won’t look or work quite as well if you don’t keep it clean. But first up, we wanted to roll up our sleeves and dig into the topic of cleaning up your tech. And as usual, we’ll finish up with our parting shots at one tip website or observation that you can start to use a second that this podcast is over it. In our second segment, we’ll discuss the cool AI or AI-like tools either now at Microsoft Office or coming to Microsoft Office, how useful they might already be, and what we can expect. Tom Mighell: Well, Dennis in this edition of the Kennedy-Mighell Report, we will indeed be sharing our best tips for doing a thorough spring cleaning of your tech and I’ll be talking about whether spring cleaning is really just for spring. Tom, what’s all on our agenda for this episode? So we want to share some of our best tips for doing a major cleanup effort on your technology. In this episode, we noticed it is getting to feel like spring out there and for many, that means spring cleaning time. Tom and I actually did not reach agreement on this one. Tom Mighell: And I’m Tom Mighell in Dallas.ĭennis Kennedy: In our last episode, we discussed whether my growing concerns that the information we expect to find on the internet is vanishing or warranted or whether we are seeing just one more step in the evolution of the internet. Welcome to the Kennedy-Mighell Report here on the Legal Talk Network.ĭennis Kennedy: And welcome to Episode 339 of the Kennedy-Mighell Report. Got the world turning as fast as it can, hear how technology can help legally speaking, with two of the top legal technology experts, authors and lawyers, Dennis Kennedy and Tom Mighell. My mouse also does not have any DPI adjustment setting.Intro: Web 2.0. I checked my mouse and it was only at 60Hz. I searched Google and someone suggested it might be the pulling rate of the mouse defaulted to 1000Hz or something. Problem only happens when I am in the game. The confusing part is that the mouse does not have this problem when I am just on the windows desktop. ![]() Even if I put the mouse to the left, it will still continued the curser motion for a second before it starts moving to the left and repeating the same problem. Then suddenly will skip to the right most position. If I try to move my mouse from left to right (or any other direction) at a constant speed, the curser will be moving as intended for the first 1/4 of the screen. When I open Destiny 2 on Stadia, graphic is fine, keyboard input also seems fine, loading speed also appears normal. Obviously I know the performance won't be the same but the issue I am encountering with does not seems to be caused by performance. I am trying to see if I can use VM (Hyper-V specifically) as a secondary gaming pc. Hopefully someone can help me out for my VM problem. Just joined the Discord server last week and this week is first time on the LTT forum. ![]()
